Bob Stewart was the first British United Nations Commander in Bosnia. On his return he was awarded the Distinguished Service Order for leadership and gallantry.
Bob left the British Army in 1995 and held senior positions with a range of corporate organisations including Hill & Knowlton and WorldSpace UK Ltd. He also founded The Leadership Backbone, a consultancy which specialises in business leadership, security, crisis management, motivation, and negotiation.
In May 2010, a new chapter in Bob's career began when he was elected as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Beckenham.
